The County of San Mateo’s Department of Housing (DOH) is pleased to announce the availability of grant funding provided by the California Emergency Solutions and Housing (CESH) Program.
DOH was selected by the State of California as the Administrative Entity (AE) for CESH funding, which provides grants to assist persons who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness. The County has prioritized the use of CESH funds for operating subsidies in the form of a 15-year capitalized operating reserve to pay for additional supportive services in new and/or existing affordable housing projects for homeless individuals and/or families.
CESH funds are only made available through the County’s Affordable Housing Fund (“AHF 7.0”).
To apply for CESH funds, please follow the NOFA requirements and application guidelines found on the AHF 7.0 NOFA page.
