The County of San Mateo Department of Housing is pleased to announce, as of December 6, 2021, the following Notices of Funding Availability (NOFA): 

  1. Federal CDGB/ESG NOFA for Community Development Activities (Public Services, Shelter Services, Rapid Re-Housing, Fair Housing, Micro-Enterprise, Minor Home Repair Programs) *Funding under this NOFA is for the first year of 2-year awards 

  2. Federal CDBG/HOME NOFA for Housing Development and Public Facility Improvements  

Funding being made available through these NOFAs will be from Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, the Federal Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) program, and the Federal HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) program. The Department of Housing invites applications for eligible activities under these programs. The NOFA guidelines, schedule, and Funding Priorities are posted below.

Attendance by applicants is not mandatory but highly encouraged, especially for any new applications/projects to the County.
