The County of San Mateo Department of Housing is pleased to announce, as of December 6, 2021, the issuance of the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the 2022 State of California Emergency Solutions Grants (State ESG) Program 

The County of San Mateo Department of Housing was selected by the State of California as the Administrative Entity (AE) for the State of California ESG funding allocated to the County. The Department of Housing invites applications for eligible activities to address homelessness under the State Emergency Solutions Grants (State ESG) program. Under State Regulation 8403(i), the County of San Mateo is required to award no less than 40% of available State ESG funds for rapid re-housing activities. The remaining funds will be available to support emergency shelter operations as described in the NOFA. The NOFA guidelines, schedule, and Funding Priorities are posted below.
