The Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo (HACSM) is pleased to announce the release on 12/02/19, the issuance of the Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for Section 8 Project-Based Vouchers

HACSM is inviting qualified affordable housing developers to submit applications for participation in the Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Program. Applications will be accepted for units in new construction projects. HACSM’s goal for this RFP is to incentive and prioritize development of new, affordable permanent housing for extremely-low income and very-low income households, including those experiencing homelessness and those with other special needs as defined in this RFP. HACSM will make available up to a total of 200 Section 8 Project-Based Vouchers for projects selected as a result of this RFP.

Applicants are required to submit applications though City Data Services at citydataservices.net. Please see cover page of RFP for login details. Please note that applications sent via e-mail or postal service mail will not be accepted.

Applications are due by 4pm on Friday, January 3, 2020.
